Utah’s Office of Artificial Intelligence Policy has launched a pilot program allowing Doctronic’s AI system to approve renewal requests for select chronic medications. Under the pilot, the approval action itself may occur without a physician directly authorizing each eligible refill, while maintaining physician oversight and escalation pathways.

- Eligible for 30–90 day refills for medications patients are already taking
